Measurable energy exists all around us — and our human energy field is constantly reacting to our physical, emotional, and spiritual states. Reiki, a Japanese form of energy healing, uses gentle touch to work with the body’s subtle energy systems — and promotes deep relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety. Translated to “universal life force energy” from Japanese, Reiki treats the whole person by supporting energetic balance and the natural flow of energy. Reiki is gentle and non-invasive and also works as a complementary treatment to support other medical or therapeutic techniques.
Besides Reiki, I use other forms of energy healing to move and clear energy that are related to people's’ stuck emotions, limiting beliefs, or unprocessed events.

Energy work is a wonderful treat you can give to yourself to promote a sense of wellbeing, deep rest and relaxation. It can:
Foster natural self-healing (our bodies are intelligent and designed to heal)
Promote relaxation and reduce stress
Balance energies in the body
Relieve pain and discomfort
Enhance spiritual connection
Clear “stuck” emotions
Help support meditative states and develop intuition
Promote personal awareness and clarity of thought

Before a session, we will talk for a few minutes and discuss any questions, curiosities or concerns.
During a session the client remains fully clothed and lies down comfortably on a massage table or sits in a chair. Following my intuition and the needs of the client, I place my hands on different energy centers on the body – or hover my hands a few inches above the body. As an energy worker I can sense the flow of energy and move my hands to different parts of the body throughout the session. The client determines the amount of energy they need, so I am taking their lead and not “forcing” energy onto anyone. There’s no physical manipulation involved, nor are there known contraindications, which makes it ideal for use in conjunction with other complementary therapies as well as mainstream medicine.
Following the session, I will check in with you to see how you are feeling and we can talk about anything that you noticed or any questions you have about your session. Energy work will continue to integrate after the session so it’s a good idea to stay hydrated to support your body. I also suggest not leaving the session and diving straight into a high stress activity. Give yourself a chance to enjoy the recalibration.

Everyone experiences energy work differently and your experience may be different every session. Reiki activates the parasympathetic nervous system so many clients report feelings of deep relaxation and wellbeing during and after a session. During the session, you may experience the energy through different types of sensations - heat, cold, pulsation, tingling, rushing or bubbling of energy, or gentle waves – or you may feel nothing at all. There is no right or wrong way to feel! Reiki is always working, no matter what you may sense in your body. For those who are in a space of deeper clearing, they could feel tired and need extra rest. Since Reiki is moving energy in and out of the body there can be an emotional release — and some people experience emotions like sadness or anger immediately following a treatment or the next day. If this happens to you, it’s important to understand that it is part of a healing process. I encourage clients to sit with the feelings and let them pass. Reiki can be a clearing process on an emotional level.

So glad you asked! It’s one of my favorite topics. I love using my intuition and helping clients learn how to trust their own. Everyone has intuitive abilities at their disposal and developing your intuition is a skill that can be practiced. You are probably using your intuition and may not realize it. Like that time when you were thinking about someone and then they called. Or that sense about what your next move should be and things fall into place. Using your intuition can be really fun and is a great way to stay aligned with your true self. It’s like tapping into your own personal GPS and inner guru. It’s key to understand that intuition is subtle and can be “just a whisper” so the more you can find a place of quiet centeredness and get your mind and thoughts out of the way, the more space your intuition has to show up.

As a certified intuitive, I am able to read people’s energy and reflect back to them thoughts, beliefs or patterns that may be getting in their way. I connect with people at a deep level to help them see where they are “stuck” and where they aren’t — building on what’s working well and identifying areas that feel meaningful and joyful. I also connect to people’s “spirit team” who provide messages of support and guidance to help people find clarity on their path and purpose.ption

Every session may look different as intuitive ventures often work in surprising ways. However, there are some basic formats for what a session could look like. For example, after a short intuitive reading on a particular issue, we could follow up with a coaching session to work on mindset, thought patterns, or next steps for action to address the issue. Or we could have a longer intuitive reading for one meeting, with follow-up coaching during subsequent sessions. Or perhaps we have a blend of both throughout the session as they are quite complementary practices.escription

Most people come with a topic or issue that’s on their mind and we explore that. However, if you are drawing a blank or don’t have a burning issue, we can start with an energy reading and see what comes up and take it from there. I suggest coming with an open mind and leaving rigid expectations behind. I am not predicting the future nor telling you how a situation will turn out. That is up to the client.
